Thai the Knot Again
Nov - Feb
Best Time to Come:
Feel the magic of an authentic Thai style wedding as you commit to a partner or renew your vows. Bring your loved ones along for a huge party and feast, then take them on catered outings to places of scenic wonder.
Tie the Knot, Thai Style
We think every couple should have the opportunity to seal or renew their commitment, stage the wedding they never had, or simply recreate the magic of a sacred bond with their closest friends and family in attendance.
Take part in a fairy tale! Our garden resort is a wonderful setting for an event you'll cherish forever. Although a Thai wedding is not legally binding, you'll exchange rings and tie the knot as if it were the real deal.
Your Thai marriage will be a festive and meaningful affair steeped in religious and secular traditions. The ceremony ritual is performed in two acts, first by a group of monks and then by the village head chief.
You'll participate in many Thai customs designed to enhance compatibility. Couples hold onto a long thread with chanting monks to strengthen their connection to the divine, cut a boiled egg in half and then check if it fits back together, or receive marriage advice while lying down on a decorated bed.
We can accommodate a party of up to 20 people, and will provide Thai formal wear, monks, a master of ceremonies, and a catered feast for the occasion.
Our vow renewal package includes two days of outings to majestic destinations for the entire party. We'll visit spots of wonder that look like they came straight out of a photo shoot, like our signature Khlong Lan Waterfall, the 9-step one Khlong Nam Lai Waterfall, or the miraculously preserved Dispelling Fear Standing Buddha at Kamphaeng Phet's UNESCO World Heritage Historical Park.
Thailand is an amazingly tolerant society, so gender and orientation are never an issue. We are LGBQT friendly.
This will be the unforgettable marriage and honeymoon you've always dreamed of but never had.
Your friends and family will be impressed to no end by the authenticity of your ceremony and the Thai hospitality on display.
What Makes This Trip So Special
Enjoying a ceremony and party where you need not sweat any of the details may be the best part of the whole occasion, but that's not all. We think you and your friends and family will also love your accommodations, the food, our staff, the waterfalls and rivers, temples and festivals, traditional Thai massage, and the historical sites.
Your adventure will be filled with too much to list here, but some high points include:
traditional Thai attire for the ceremony and after-party
religious ceremony administered by Buddhist monks plus a civil ceremony delivered by the village head chief
all meals and beverages during your stay
lantern ceremony to conclude the exchange of vows
a therapeutic massage during your stay
big screen photo and video review of your big day, plus all pictures and videos provided to you on a memory stick
In addition, we try to work in many other optional activities for you and your guests, including but not limited to:
offering early morning alms to monks
visits to temples and festivals
trip to Kamphaeng Phet's museums and historical park
foot-soaking at a natural hot spring
bird watching and feeding monkeys
exploring caves at a mountain temple
hands-on experiences with farmers planting and harvesting crops
village visit to see a silversmith and traditional embroidery
hikes and scrambles to remote swimming holes and scenic view spots
